One thing I asked for in the care package was sauce packets, something to add some flavor to the bland food here. I knew sending sauce packets was a high risk maneuver. We had mixed results as you will see below.

1 Packets Chick-fil-A Sauce (I've heard rumors that some areas call this Honey Barbecue sauce but not from a very reliable source, plus it makes no sense, it is a creamy honey mustard where barbecue honey mustard sauces tend to be of the sharper more intense mustard taste)

Saddest part is the Chick-fil-A sauce is my favorite. :(
Haven't tried the M&Ms in the care package yet but was surprised how poorly Jolly Ranchers faired. Melted all over everything.
Clemson Winning Ugly
Clemson won ugly, UNC beat FSU, and all of a sudden the season does not look lost. 8-4 is kind of the minimum expectation any year at Clemson and that is still possible (but 2 really tough games to go). Looking down the schedule I think it is likely that NC State & Maryland each lose one more, meaning if Clemson beats FSU next week they will win a 4 way tie breaker, having beaten the other 3 teams. Still tall tall order to beat FSU at FSU. We will have to play our most complete game of the year to contend. But almost nobody who reads this blog cares about Clemson football... so...
Home Is Coming Together
This morning woke up at 7:30 with my carpenter knocking on my door. An hour later he delivered my wardrobe. I put down my deposit on the sofa and he told me he would have it in 3 days. I'm pretty excited. After that all I want made is a coffee table and bookcase and I am going to call the place complete. Long term plan still calls for a mini fridge and rocking chair but I am going to take my time on those. Once the sofa and coffee table are here I can actually have a guest over for a meal without sitting on the floor.
Kind of funny story...
Left a key to my place with the girl who does my laundry because I was going to be away from site most of the day Saturday. I came back to find she had taken out my trash and swept my living room despite my having insisted before that I will clean my own place. Hopefully I'll be in a better cleaning routine soon and it won't happen again.
